fic search - angsty post-TPM Qui/Obi

Hello,

I'm having one of those "can't find a fic and it's driving me crazy," and was hoping someone here might be able to help?

I'm *relatively* certain that it was a kind of angsty post-TPM fic, where things had gone badly between Qui and Obi (but with Qui-Gon surviving, of course).

Obi had gone off on a long mission to a planet somewhere, and years later the Council sends Qui out there to check things out - things are looking Very Suspicious and they're worried that Obi's turned dark or is using the posting for his own profit.

There's a close relationship between Obi and a family living on the planet - the father has told him some sort of secret that he's planning to use to make things better for the people of the planet. The plan was quite complex and for Reasons, required everyone to think Obi was dark/in it for himself. (Incredibly vague, I know, sorry....)

Pretty sure there was something about harsh conditions on the planet - maybe some sort of dust that everyone was breathing in? (this might equally be from a different story altogether.)

Sorry if this is quite vague or muddled - but I'd really appreciate any help finding this fic, if it rings a bell with anyone!
